Junior Varsity Royals
Congratulation the the JV Royals. They are the 2022 - 2023 CHSAA "AA" JV CITY CHAMPIONS!!!
The Royals were led in victory by Jameer Matthews who had 20 points and 5 rebounds, Julian Desir (40 minutes) with 15 points, 16 rebounds, and 11 blocked shots, and Malachi Wilson and Ganilo Quintos (6/6 from the foul line) with 10 points each.
Quintos tied the game for the Royals in the first overtime with under 10 seconds left. With just under two minutes to go in the second overtime, guards Quintos and Christian Cook each hit big shots, while Julian Desir hit the eventual game winning basket. The final score was 67 - 62 in double overtime.
A great season for the Royals is now complete with a 20-5 record overall, 12-5 first place league finish, 11-0 record at CK, 5-0 record on a neutral court, a St. Raymond Thanksgiving tournament championship, and the City Championship!
Congratulations to the Junior Varsity Royals on earning the right to play in the City Championship game!
The Royals secured a very impressive semi-final win over Mount St. Michael Academy by a score of 64-61. Julian Desir led the team in victory with 22 points, followed by 14 points from guard Ganilo Quintos and 13 points from guard Jameer Matthews. The Royals will now play Cardinal Hayes in the title game.
Game time is 7:00pm Saturday night, March 4th, at St. Raymond High School in the Bronx.

Congratulations to the JV Royals who defeated Monsignor Scanlan in the Quarter-finals of the city playoffs with a thrilling 51-49 come from behind victory!
The Royals will host the Mountaineers of Mount St. Michael on Wednesday in the semi-finals at Christ the King! This will be the 15th time in 19 seasons the JV Royals have advanced to the Final Four!
Game time is 5:00pm.

Congratulations the Christ the King Mens JV Royals on finishing in 1st place! The Royals finished the regular season with a 17 - 5 record overall. CK's league record was 12 - 5, two games ahead of the 2nd place team.
The Royals will open the playoffs with an opponent TBD on Sunday, February 26th, at Archbishop Molloy High School. Check back soon for more information.
The Royals look to close out the season strong! With three games left, CK will host Bishop Loughlin this Sunday with hopes of winning 1st place in the Brooklyn-Queens Diocese. 
The JV Royals are currently 14-5 overall with a league record of 9-5.

Congratulations to the JV Royals on their 58 - 54 win over Mount St. Michael Academy in the 14th Annual Tony Iurilli Thanksgiving Classic Championship. The Royals went 3-0 over the weekend with wins against the Mount, St. Raymond, and St. Mary's. 
The win was the 7th time since the inception of the tournament that the Royals have won the championship.
Julian Desir earned MVP honors for his championship game performance of 14 points, 14 rebounds, and 5 blocked shots. 
It's Game Day! The JV Royals will play for the championship in the Tony Iurilli Thanksgiving Classic at St. Raymond High School in the Bronx. The Royals will play Mount St. Michael Academy at 5:45pm.
The Royals reached the championship with impressive victories over St. Mary's in the quarterfinals (78-38) and St. Raymond (73-32) in the semi-finals. In the semi-final game, the Royals saw five players score in double figures, led by Robert Phelps and Julian Desir with 12 points a piece. Guard Christian Cook finished with an impressive 6 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists.

The Royals opened their season yesterday with an impressive 78-38 victory over St. Mary's (Manhassett) in the opening round of the Tony Iurilli Thanksgiving Classic at St. Raymond HS. The Royals were lead by Julian Desir's 11 points and Malachi Wilsons 8 rebounds, 7 steals, and 6 assists.
The win sets up a semi-final match-up with the host team, St. Raymond.
Good Luck to the Royals as they look for a win to advance to the championship game.
Its Game Day!! The Royals will travel to St. Raymond High School in the Bronx to participate in the 14th Annual Tony Iurilli Thanksgiving Classic. The Royals, 6-time winners of the holiday event, look to repeat after winning last years classic over Cardinal Hayes!

The Junior Varsity Royals will play a very competitive CHSAA "AA" league schedule this year, highlighted by rivalry games with Archbishop Molloy, Bishop Loughlin and a trip to St. Raymond for the Annual Tony Iurilli Thanksgiving Tournament.

The CK JV Royals have advanced to the CHSAA "AA" Intersectional Semi-Finals with their thrilling one point victory over Monsignor Scanlan.
They will take on St. Peters of Staten Island Wednesday night at Xaverian HS.
Game time is set for 7:00pm.

Congratulations to the Royals JV basketball team on their 1/4 final playoff victory over the Crusaders of Monsignor Scanlan HS.

CK now advances to the final four of the JV "AA" Intersectional playoffs, the 14th time in 18 seasons the Royals have advanced that far.

This is the 6th time in the tournaments history the Royals have won the championship.
Chiko Kalu was the high scorer for the Royals with 26 points.
