Message from Principal Martinez - March 12, 2020 @ 9PM

Dear Parents and Students,

Good Evening.

Things do change quickly. We do not have any word from New York State regarding school closing. Despite rumors that you may have heard, Christ the King does not have anyone affected by the coronavirus.

We will move into distance learning, if closing should become necessary. Therefore the teachers need time to prepare additional materials for each of their classes. To provide time for sufficient preparation we have decided to close school on Monday to prepare materials for the at home student work. At this point, it is our plan that classes will resume on Tuesday.

The additional day will also give our maintenance crew more time to do more intensive cleaning which they will start over the weekend.

Let's all try to be calm as we go through these very draining and somewhat scary days.
Again, you can be assured that you will be notified of any problems at Christ the King.

Please check your email regularly. All emails will only be accessible from your  Christ the King accounts.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any concerns or questions.
Be well.

Miss Geri Martinez
Principal
Christ the King High School.
