Christ the King’s IT Academy Program:

 

Christ the King is an authorized Certiport Testing Center.  Students interested in pursuing a career in technology can enroll in our IT Academy and earn several certifications, including the IC3, Microsoft Office Specialist, and Microsoft Technology Associate certifications.

 

In the IT Academy, students will be trained in diverse and relevant technology fields allowing them to continue their education in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering and Development.  The courses aggressively prepare students for degree tracks and certifications that lead to careers as network administrators, programmers, and system managers.  With the growth of the IT industry, companies increasingly rely on technical certifications to identify and validate work skills. Entrance into the Microsoft IT Academy is contingent upon completion of 720 Intermediate Concepts in Computer Science with a GPA of 85% or above and the approval of the instructor.
