Contour practice sheets 1 & 2 - step 1 in Google Classroom

Contour practice sheets 1 & 2 - step 1

upload both of your hand drawings from class today along with the drawings of line drawings from the worksheets.

The purpose of this activity is to train yourself to draw lines, shapes, and curves rather than an eyes a nose and a mouth. This will help you to be able to draw more realistically.

For the "upside down line drawing Picasso" you will be drawing this piece upside down. You will start at the top of the page by his legs and work your way down to his head. You will look at the lines and draw them as close as you can to the original. Think of this like you are piecing together a puzzle.

For the "Mona Lisa Line Drawing" you will be doing the same thing except in a grid. You will recreate the grid in your sketchbook and draw this square by square.

Once you are done please upload a photo to Google Classroom.

After, as we did with our echo flowers, you will leave space (about 2 inches) and draw an echo of the moon until you reach the edge of the paper. I have attached an example of what this should look like below.
